In 2007, we hosted an exciting array of dance events, featuring a master class with the Paul Taylor Dance Company. Attendees also enjoyed a Repertory Master Class and a Ballet Master Class from the American Ballet Theater. Pre-show talks included insights from the Royal Ballet of Flanders and Complexions Contemporary Ballet’s Artistic Director, Dwight Rhoden. The highlight was a free interactive class on Main Beach, allowing participants to engage with dance in a vibrant setting.

The festival also brought international artists and dance companies, master teachers and artistic collaborators to Southern California for nine days with four performances at the Artists’ Theatre, one free outdoor public performance, and dance installations in galleries throughout Laguna Beach. National and international dance companies that participated in the festival include: American Ballet Theatre, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Aspen Santa Fe Ballet, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, CorbinDances and The Groovaloos. It was a year of inspiration and creativity for dance lovers!
