Stephanie Dai is a freelance dancer and choreographer based in Los Angeles. Originally from Fremont, CA, she received her BFA from the USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance in 2019 where she had the honor of working closely with choreographers such as William Forsythe, Sonya Tayeh, and Barak Marshall. Her distinct movement style grounded in hip hop and contemporary has led to a variety of performance opportunities: she has appeared in the music videos of artists such as CL, Porter Robinson, Julia Stone, and NIKKI, in Ryan Murphy’s The Prom, and in commercials for companies such as UNIQLO. Along with working commercially, she has most recently performed with Micaela Taylor’s TL Collective in the premiere of ‘90Sugar’ and with JA Collective as a soloist in their show ‘Wrenz Kaloogy.’ Stephanie is currently signed with BLOC Talent Agency and continues to freelance in both commercial and concert contexts. With her own work, she hopes to draw from her diverse performance experience to create story-driven, interdisciplinary pieces. She looks forward to choreographing for home LA later this year.
YOU CAN HELP!
Dance, by nature, is a costly art form. From licensing and royalty fees, costume creations, lighting and stage design, to hours of coaching, every aspect of the final production is a significant investment.
Ticket sales cover less than
20% of these costs.
That’s why we need friends and patrons to help make the difference.
We salute and thank all of them!
Can we count on you
to support the magic of
